The Province of Manitoba and the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) have announced that the new dual track École Sage Creek School includes Early Learning to Grade 8. The school will be up to 68,000 square feet on 6.44 acres at the corner of Sage Creek Boulevard and Edward Turner Drive.
Sage Creek is home to 27 acres of wetlands and 66 acres of native grasses, wildflowers, shrubs and trees, (either already existing or underway; more will be created in future phases). It's part of an emerging land ethic that sees beauty in nature and value in the restorative role that natural land development plays in our environment. Elements from the history of the Red River Settlement as well as the natural history of the Sage Creek area can be found in our street names.
